These are the Easter lilies on the front porch of The Little Brown House, set there to commemorate the resurrection of Christ...
because today is Easter in the Episcopal Church USA, a member of the Anglican Communion. We are liturgists, congregants who invest in religious ceremony as a statement of our faith. Far from being empty rote words and actions, they bring us closer to Christ, especially on this holiest of days. However you spend today, I hope you find peace and renewal.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter. My mother-in-law ALWAYS had an Easter lily at home for Easter. We used to get together with cousins for an early dinner...we still do but miss her very much.
