V, when I put this up, the first thing I thought of was, "I wonder what Virginia will think of this?" I was a little worried about it so I'm relieved to know that you like it.
Barbara, I think it's the return to the natural order, it's fascinating to see it happen.
PA, I love the feral and the concrete - and the wood. I have some planking I would love to show but I think I'm saving it for "Monochrome March" when all my photos are monochrome.
W2W, when it's in the neighborhood it's more like a wayward neighbor.
Jeanette, I need a better lens,I had to work to get that shot.
JE, you're the queen of rustic so that means a lot to me!
BC, I kept trying to figure out, "Why there?" What was the front yard like?
D, they're like dandy-lions in that respect.
AH, I haven't read the book but I loved the moving picture show.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me. You may not get a return visit right away but when I do drop in I'll be sure to comment on both your current and past posts so I can get caught up. Until then, Cheers!
Welll this might rank right up at the top of my favs of yours. Your view on my home brings tears to my eyes.

ReplyDeleteGotta love those daffodils and those falling down houses. Love the second shot in particular.
ReplyDeleteBroke down? no no no I know feral when I see it! and I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like something just down the road from us. There are some nice shrubs and trees around it just begging to be adopted.
ReplyDeleteWow, the contrast is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited so see your take on old and broke down. This is beautiful, monochrome with a splash of colour.
ReplyDeleteI've always been fascinated by the fact that parts of a garden continue long after the gardener is gone. These images demonstrate this beautifully.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils don't give up.
ReplyDelete"I don't know of anything prettier, than a scissortail flyin' through the sky!"
ReplyDeleteTrip to Bountiful
