N.O. invented sepia, just by existing.

Well, I've never seen a photo of Presentation Hall, so thank you for this wonderful depiction...you do sepia very well, too.

Great sepia pic!! It looks like it was taken in a different era, many many years ago :)

This is first rate. My oh my, and you didn't cave and try and lighten all the dark areas. Good for you. It screams NOLA is all about the dark, shady side of things, right?

I haven't been there in a thousand years but it looks just the same.

I am salivating over those wrought iron details! Fascinating building — looks old and looks like it has been preserved too. I can just make out a different name over the doorway.

That photo is gorgeous! I want it on my wall so I can look at it every day. There are so many things to see -- the colors, the textures, the shapes, the light...

Hilda, the other name is also Preservation Hall.
Preservation Hall is so historic and so dignified looking to me, It couldn't help but convey that in the photo.
AH, I'm working on prints...will get back to you on that.

That's a really beautiful sepia shot. I came to see that then started looking at the rest of your blog and decided I'd better come back when I have more time. I haven't been to New Orleans since I was about 12 yrs old and I'm not telling how many years ago that was. lol

Another nice job, PJ! New Orleans is the place I'd like to go to one of these day! Perfect sepia shot with a little color! :)

Tricia, I had to lighten it a little bit because I took with available light but this is pretty much how it looks. I didn't edit it all for sepia tones.

Sweet shot! I love this. And you're right about it not needing anything it didn't come with.
