Let Nature Heal You Sunday

I was recently given the advice you see above and I have taken it to heart. This is from a recent trip to Marcus Bayou Water Reclamation Facility. The walkways are spectacular, I can bring my dog, Ranger, with me, and I love visiting there knowing they're reclaiming the water and creating a sanctuary for wildlife. I like to think of it as an outdoor church.

Great pictures. Sorry for this comment but wanted you to know there are two or three audio feeds running in the background today on your blog page. One is ok if I can find the place to click and stop it but I can't find all the off switches for this post. Just turned down my volune so I could post this and let you know.

Thanks, Walker. I'm still new to all this, haven't figured out all the ins and outs.

Actually, now that I think about it, I've had this problem before, even when I don't embed the song in the post. I don't know where the problem is I just keep working on it.

Love the sepia look, PJ! It makes all of the different textures really stand out. You're so right about the healing power of nature, especially when water is present.

W2W,
For me it's the element of water that creates the healing moment, I'm a born water-baby. Thanks for the link to my blog. And Casino Beach is right by the pier.

This appears to be a wonderful area for a walk. I do hope you take us back there for a stroll, virtually that is. ;)

Fully agree....like an outdoor church. Great shot of that boardwalk catching the light and shadows. Lovely place.
All the best to you and yours, PJ, in the new year!
